Re-read my role. I have a 53% chance of getting the result wrong, not right, but it may fluctuate from unknown circumstances.
Ooh, but I can transport one person from one dimension to another. Which is kinda cool.

I have a 53% chance of doing just that. That's slightly over half! Whoop whoop! This means "I have a 53% chance of revealing a scum role PM" but then you say Re-read my role. I have a 53% chance of getting the result wrong, not right, but it may fluctuate from unknown circumstances. Ooh, but I can transport one person from one dimension to another. Which is kinda cool. So getting a scum role PM revealed is wrong, not right? Is this the slip of the century, or what? and LOL at you being able to transport people. Why didn't you just make this clear in the first place? Staggering your role reveal sounds like you're making things up as you go along. I have yet to panic over anything, because your case is the worst I've seen from you in a long time. -I am against lynching D1 because I always am when we don't have a N0 start. Fight me. I explained why this is anti-town. - ...Lynching inactives is always a last resort? What's the difference if they flip town or scum? We don't get any information from lynching them because, as their namesake implies, they are inactive and have had no interaction with any other players. You're not reading what I said. You value No Lynch over lynching an inactive. Lynching means a chance to hit scum. If you are against lynching on D1 then you are not acting in the town's best interest. - I implied scum were equal to town in the dimensions because I have common sense. Common sense also dictates that we not squander any opportunities to lynch scum, but I guess you're not into that idea I believe I said all my abilities suck. Come at me scum, my abilities suck. ^ -JOAT scum is possible, not probable. You are trying to downplay the possibility of JOAT scum. But that's understandable, given your situation. Your play is drastically different this game. Noted. Camoclone and Celever are both on the other side. Someone's gotta pick up the slack My play seems different because no one has tried to vote for No Lynch in recent games. I think the last one where NL was allowed was WW28. I feel very strongly about lynching d1 and have gone after people who suggested NL as a viable option. I'm also guilty of tunneling when I feel good about my case. I guess my lynch does provide some information, simsands. But not as much as you hope, since I don't think PMJ is scum either, just making bad plays. AtE. Suggesting lynching you will not give us much info only makes me want to lynch you even more. When you flip scum we will have plenty of avenues for day two. I just wish we could warn the other side, in case you survive the bonus round.

Our committee member will be able to speak with the other dimension's member in the limbo dimension, right? We can just hope they don't pick a scum.

Keeper, if you survive today, feel free to dimension swap me. If you town-read me then please send me To the other dimension.
I have a locked ability labeled "Spacetime Warp: ability name"
Or something like that, I'm assuming a dimension switch will unlock that??

Spacetime Warp is the ability that unlocks when you die. At least from what I understood.

Why are you so against being transferred now? Is there a reason you need to be on a certain side?

[source="/post/176/thread" timestamp="1459095533"] Lynching day one is the most important for Town because that's when town is honestly most vulnerable to scum. If town doesn't lynch day one it's basically giving scum free reign to kill whomever they want and then townies are pretty much playing an uphill battle from the start. Hello, got you. ##VOTE: SilverSilentSo... It's better for town to start off with two deaths rather than one, in your opinion? Also, lol PMJ. We don't have a "better-than-average" chance to lynch scum just because there's less players here. Scum are undoubtedly still proportionate to town in both dimensions.[/quote] How did you get me? It's common knowledge for town to try and lynch day one.. You're able to go off of the information given to lynch potential scum.. Jabber didn't get lynched strictly because he was discussing mechanics, he got lynched because what he suggested was so far out there as a theory that it would only be logical if he was the recipient of it. It was a mistake to do because he knew very well that he didn't inherit the kill. I can't imagine how he didn't think it wouldn't come back to him. If you're going to vote for someone, vote for keeper who I have a solid day one case for. case on keeper: - supports No Lynch D1. The circumstances surrounding day one are irrelevant; there are very few instances in which a No Lynch vote is acceptable and D1 isn't one of them. There is no reason to not lynch someone D1. Odds are against us hitting scum but it's like winning the lottery; no matter how low your chances are, if you don't roll the dice, your chances are zero. The only thing a D1 NL does is give us no information, waste our time, and let the town start down a guy since the scum gets a free kill. The lynch is the town's main weapon to eliminate scum and to willingly throw it away this early is definitely anti-town - Adamantly against lynching inactives. Note how he said we would not "resort" to lynching an inactive, like it was the worst possible thing we could do. At the time of that post, the only players who hadn't yet posted were SilverSilent and Skyleaf. Keeper obviously didn't want us to go for an inactive because one (or both) of those players is his scum buddy. I'd bet it's Silent over Skyleaf though because... - The second those guys showed up, Keeper voted for Silent in an attempt to get that sweet, sweet town cred. Keeper knows he is boned, so he is trying to bus his teammate in order to appear town. He will probably try to push Silent's lynch because a) the "anyone but me" mentality and b) Keeper knows Silent will flip scum too. - He implied the scum are divided among the worlds evenly. The only way he could possibly be sure of this is if he were scum. - AtE defense. - His claim is garbage, JOAT can be any alignment. I have personally used scum JOAT in my games. It is not at all improbable. If you can find any better d1 candidate I'm all ears. Normally I would agree with policy lynching actives, but it's day one and it's a bit early jumping the gun PMJ. If it's more towards day two or three then I'd be fine with it (including myself being lynched.) But right now it's more important to focus what their is now instead of inactivity.

It appears that SilverSilent has edited his post above. Editing posts for ANY reason is NOT allowed. If he does it again, he will be immediately modkilled. This is the last and final warning to all players.

Having our lynch not go through would be incredibly annoying, as we'd be left with hardly any information, still. And with our lynchee in the other dimension, it would be almost like starting over from scratch (save for potential ability results). I think the lynch could become like a battle between the two dimensions, with the side with more committee members being the clear winner.
The most obvious way of thinking would be to want the lynchee from your own dimension to be lynched, as you most likely had a good reason to lynch him/her. But if everyone thinks this way, the dimension with fewer members will always be left out, with the exception of cases where there's enough evidence to win the other dimension's members over. Sure, you could say that it would be logical for the other dimension to distrust the person who was lynched but instead sent over to their dimension, but they will just as anyone else have cases on their players based on the information from their lynch.
The best scenario would probably be if we could alternate lynches as much as possible (ie one dimension's lynchee one night, the other's the next), but I'm unsure if that will happen. In any case, one dimension will always be left with limited information after each lynch.

Noooooooo SS don't elect me to the council; I just said I wanted to observe its process from the outside first... You're doing this on purpose, right? I think KoN has been flip-flopping and his comments/defense have been inconsistent. For a D1 lynch, that's not too bad a reason to suspect someone for. I might not have time to go online on the last few hours of Day due to work, so I'll put my vote in now. ##VOTE: Keeper of Night

Let's worry about how it works after we find out how it works. Day is ending soon; MORE VOTES PLEASE. PMJ for council: because if you don't nominate a black person, you're racist.

This is exactly why I want to observe the lynch committee process thing first; there are still some unknown factors and so many what-if scenarios about it. We don't know, maybe being elected to it will have an effect on our roles/abilities? Will the elected person/s have a limit on who it could be, because it's possible that the same person could keep getting elected, right? Etc, etc. Speculating on its mechanics at this point are all hypothesis that none of us can give a definite answer for. Wouldn't it be better to wait for it to have occurred at least once, and then we can decide which possibilities on mechanics actually ARE possible, and what seems to be too outlandish?

True, but it's definitely something worth keeping in mind.
