We're going nowhere if everyone elects themselves to the council, since if that happens the hosts will probably RNG it. It's the same as us not making a decision at all. The reasoning of trusting no one but yourself thus the elect votes being like that is understandable. For me though, this is like a way of observing the elected person and see how they act or make decision under pressure. You didn't answer my question. I'll be more clear: why nominate simsands, out of everyone else in this dimension? Mia explained when she (she?) nominated me, so I'm curious as to what your reasoning is. It's in my very first post in the board, I'm surprised you missed it. Let me quote it then: simsands was rooting for me last game, so I'll return the favor. @@elect: simsands Yes, you may call it petty. But this is a D1 start with no N0, everything we're spouting today is petty and has no role/ability-related reasoning anyways. And I already said why I ain't putting myself up for vote. Since we're not sure of the special mechanics at work on the committee thing, I'd rather watch from the outside first. Wow, the other dimension's done voting already? They sure are fast... We haven't really done much in-depth discussion here and we don't have much time left to do so (by my estimate it's around 48 hours?)... So I guess we're going for an inactive lynch? Or unless we go for the person who already has the most votes at the moment... but I think all those votes were RVS.

Hmm keeper would be an ok lynch too (I still prefer a simsands lynch) also he was a host last game so he's gotta be scum right?

I genuinely can't tell if this old hosts=scum thing is for real or not Dx
On another note, I don't think that Keeper suggesting NL D1 makes him scum automatically. However, we don't really have any other serious leads, and I'd rather not lynch an inactive D1.
@squirtle Squad, why a simsands lynch? (sorry if you already explained, I may have missed it :<)

(sorry if you already explained, I may have missed it :<) He thinks I'm scum because I was speculating about the crisis committee having members other than the two players from each dimension. One of my suggestions was that the scum team could pick one committee member of their own, which apparently was very scummy.

Oh, so I missed it Dx
It makes no sense for the committee to have only two people, so I think it's definitely possible, if not likely. Besides, it would make switching dimensions easier. For example, the chosen committee member from here could say that x committee member acted scummy ish because so and so and that way when one of us goes on the other dimension we could already have some kind of lead, instead of starting clueless again.

The council likely has five members in it. Three would leave it too open to being controlled by scum and any even number means they can't reach majority (which is how they decide who dies). Back in PB Werewolf's heyday, the hosts being scum was definitely true. Either way, the host was lynched within the first couple days

##UNVOTE: Vom ##VOTE: Keeper of NightAnyone who supports NL d1 is scum. Doesn't matter if bb said we can't do it, if you really think it's a dumb idea to lynch someone today when we have a better-than-average chance to lynch scum with the reduced amount of players in this dimension you are off your rocker. Lynching day one is the most important for Town because that's when town is honestly most vulnerable to scum. If town doesn't lynch day one it's basically giving scum free reign to kill whomever they want and then townies are pretty much playing an uphill battle from the start. Hello, got you. ##VOTE: SilverSilentSo... It's better for town to start off with two deaths rather than one, in your opinion? Also, lol PMJ. We don't have a "better-than-average" chance to lynch scum just because there's less players here. Scum are undoubtedly still proportionate to town in both dimensions.

Also, I will never not be an advocate of no lynch in any game that doesn't have a N0 start. I find it ridiculous when a game starts D1 and no lynch isn't an option. Forcing town to lynch a townie without any possible information to do otherwise is horrible.

Also, lol PMJ. We don't have a "better-than-average" chance to lynch scum just because there's less players here. Scum are undoubtedly still proportionate to town in both dimensions. So we're dealing with four scum and an indie then. Good to know. That's still five threats, which you can't divide evenly between two areas. One is gonna have a higher chance than the others. Since town only has about 20-23% chance to lynch scum day one, having our odds increased to 33% for basically free is like Christmas. I hate day starts as much as the next guy, but let's not kid ourselves here; day one on pb has never, ever, been decided by someone's night action. It's always RVS until someone does something Camoclone someone doesn't like, then we argue over it, and then at the end of the day the person on the chopping block is lynched anyway because the entire day was spent with that one guy defending himself. For day one, and with no information, I would say policy lynching you is a fine start. I'll try not to gloat too much when you flip scum.
